Collapsible Boat B, found adrift by the MACKAY-BENNETT during its mission to recover the bodies of those who died during the TITANIC disaster on April 14-15, 1912. Though this overturned lifeboat washed off TITANIC's deck moments before her sinking, it went on to save the lives of several crew members (including 2nd Officer Charles Lightoller) and men who scrambled to and stood upon the up-ended boat until they were rescued.
