The house of Mrs. Mary Surratt at 604 H St. N.W. Washington, D.C.  It was here that the conspirators met and plotted to overthrow the government, which resulting in President Lincoln's assassination.  Mrs. Surratt was subsequently hanged for the conspiracy against Lincoln, but doubts linger as to whether her involvement went beyond simply owning the house where the conspiracy was hatched.
